Jay,
I found a jack at Harbor Freight. Been so long I cant remember what I paid for it. It was cheap. So is the quality. But I have not fired the welder yet. Just too busy. I have three or four projects lined up. Have to take the time. Soon as this snow goes away, I will find some time!
Thanks
Dick

I did get mine made. It works great, when I have a chance I will take some pictures. I will probably use it this weekend to re-install the drives. I think I had around $85.00 in it including casters, jack and tube.

Here's one I put together real cheap. Yardsale jack still in the box for $35.00, Aluminum extrusion was free (we build machine frames out of it at work) Even had the Delrin slides so it doesn't mar the finish. Tilts fore and aft and side to side.

I am a couple steps away from making one
Just need to get to my boat to measure drive height for the fork extension placement.
One thing I was going to change was to put a quick release pin on the bottom so I can seperate the post and legs for easier storage
Something like this.

and using this jack

I took some old lengths of 2x4 and screwed them together to make an outdrive stand that sits on my motorcycle jack. Worked great! And it was super cheap. The wood was used, left over from a previous project, all I had to buy was screws and 90° brackets.

Pullmytrigger - I don't know Denny, personally. He went to school with my youngest son. My Daughter knows him and been out with him and other friends. Not like it was a one on one date. From what she tells me, He has a vrey good head on his shoulders.
