I would take it to a professional that is trained on the marine end vastly to possible fix it correctly or least have it scanned and ranned. . You have been and ordered basically everything from auto sources hoping to have bought the correct parts - plus very low dollar parts and sometimes that alone leads to problems on top of problems. You have spent more time and money including gas for parts changing only to have resolved nothing.

At this point especially - I would dump all the this fuel injection out of date NLA availability marine set up in which really is a very average at best set up for marine apps even back in the early 2000's.

I would go to a carb set up. What you will pay for the Diagnostic equipment alone and still be broken - you can buy a 600 cfm 4 bbl carb from Edelbrock for about 325 to 350 almost half the price of the diagnostic equipment alone. Also MEFI 4 used with a TBI set up / 2 injectors is not using the ECM to its full potential anyways. MEFI 4 is better suited for MPI apps. .I understand MEFI 3 has been NLA for a while and the coversion was MEFI 4. Just saying.

.

Not sure who changed it out unfortunately. I would post the number but they are non existent on my old onjectors. Will post the pic of the port later. I'm Gona put it in the water to see how poorly it runs with back pressure.

This thing just defies logic. It ran beautiful last year, and all I did was freshen up the motor, and rebuild the tbi. Now it's all messed up. We know its not mechanical... It's 100% fuel related. I just can't figure out what is wrong for the life of me.

The set up with the IAT and harness adaption with MEFI 4 is the conversion cross because MEFI 3 is NLA for providing a controller management system. The conversion done per OEM and stock set up is not a odd set up with a MEFI 4 retrofit replacement. It all has to be installed correctly as well.

Also if your app can not run worth a crap on the water hose unloaded non restricted - no back pressure - it surely will run like crap fully loaded - it will fall on its face out on the water. You have been reading too many internet mechanics about that one.

BUP, all the marinas around me have a one month wait period for work, and I really don't want togo back to a carb as it will hurt my resale value I think.

I feel like we are really close here. I don't want to give up. I'll get my name on the waiting list at the marina, but I don't have much faith in them to be honest, after hearing what others had to say.

I'm not an aftmkt guy, as you all should know by now with all my Delphi and AC Delco p art # references here and all over the years.

However, Nunnin's injectors are NLA new thu GM/AC Delco and etc.

I can purchase and send to you, and take back from you if they don't work out a NEW aftermarket set of Eichlin Injectors. They have a set listed for your app. I have used there new Aftmkt injectors prob a half dozen times or a little more and have been fine. No, not on 30psi boats...just 13 psi vehicles.

Anyhow, I would have sent you to Napa but I checked the New England warehouses and the CT warehouse has O. NH/Boston 1, and NH/ME 2. So, I can orde now and send them to you. Again, if they don't work, send them back and I can use or waranty them.

This would be my last 'able' attempt of physically trying to help. I did a thoough inj search and just came up with aftmkt 'rebuilds' just like you haave found. I did come up with the GM stamped #'s and he AC Delco Part"s though. LOL. Believe the AC Delco # was 17113305

Nice i have some injectors that are stock with factory model number's and will post. Those new injector's are the cause or the end result of the cause i cannot see why a fully functional injector would fire that badly. As mentioned eailer a neon light would show you just how bad they are.

Just went out on the water, and as expected it won't even make it over 2000 rpm. If I steadily increase rpm's to 1800 it will run OK, but then cut out and almost die. But usually it recovers.
