I stll have people telling me thank you for sharing my build on line. Great exposure and opens the door to potential sponsor's that want to get involved on the advertising side of it. Keep it public and not some big secret and IMO you might start getting discounts on parts as well if they see a following. You may want to move the thread to general racing for more exposure if you want it.

We have met some very informative people like frank and yourself Nothing is a secret I like to keep it fun

Running surface on these boats is like 28' and a little change. The molded in swim platform makes it 30'. On our 30 Outboard they cut into the platform to mount the 300s. There are still 6-8" "pulpits" on the outside of the motors so it's still considered a 30'. I believe Marks race boat eliminated the platform but I could be wrong as I haven't seen it in a while. Our 30 OB has a small notch.

87 without any real tweaking right now. Might try prop work next summer to get to 90. I will say that Rich/Mark tried everything(engine height, set-back, props) to get it running the best possible before they turned it over to us. The boat runs amazing...I was worried about balance issues because it is the #1 outboard but it flies absolutely level.

its nice to hear that, its an indication on how the manufactuer handles there customers, setting up a outboard version is compleately different than a I/O, not having any pior data to compare can be a tedious process......How much set back did you use? what size props?, did you try running them in and out? , and are the 300's 20" or 25"?
