If there was a way to make the cockpit larger there may be a new market. Mark is no small guy, how tall are you? I have to admit the first time I sat in my SVL it freaked me out when the lid closed. Its a problem for many people !!!!
My friend who races phantom 9 sat in the boat last week and first thing he said was WOW there is a lot of room in here lol

Steve has shock seats in his new Extreme, and the Fountain does also nothing like it.

With all the other changes that have been made and the progress I don't think it'll be long before you see a lot of the new boats all being built with shock seats and air conditioning.

Just as you seen in this build Eddie is putting air conditioning in his boat.

Its all about the money and what you can afford. A race boat with out the luxuries is better than no boat if its out of your budget. I agree its the way to go if you can.

In all actuality it's really not that expensive in the big picture.
With the level of competition in the super V class it's going to become a necessity that teams are going to have to invest money in new equipment to stay competitive. Just like all other motor sports what was equivalent years ago just does not cut it today.

heres are some examples of what Activator does in addition to building, its another way to keep the men working and keeping the pipeline full, choosing a manufacture to do restos and repairs can be an important decision, having a company like Activator doing these projects is a good choice....... here are some examples
this is the old 40' Skater Hidden Agenda, the tanks repaired, cockpit was converted to a six man with a wrap around windshield, paint, and a complete re rig, with help fromTom Akoury and Northeast performance Marine
