Yes the cam is raised but i couldn't tell you the specs. Make no mistake about it. I didn't do the engine work. I'm pretty handy but i left that to the professionals. I used Grimes Machine for all the engine work. Those guys have been around a long long time and treat me like family. Been working with them for over 20 yrs off and on. Unreal wealth of knowledge in Marine and drag racing and not afraid to think outside the box on this job. They have helped me fab up all kinds of weird stuff to make this work. I believe other shops would have told me to hit the road went i walk in the door and ask to have some crazy stuff welded up.
I ended up using cerakote on the intakes and valve covers to keep a pure aluminum look to them. Some of you maybe familiar with the coating. It is used on guns quite a bit.
Now i have a ton of rigging to do. Nothing is the same so all the plumbing oil, water, coolers and electrical will completely be reconfigured. This took some time because i didn't want it to look crazy. Much to try and clean up and tuck away to keep as clean a look as possible.

Just prior to dropping them in I rewired all the battery lines and replace the fuel hoses. Added a battery switch and co figured to use eather battery of each mtr.. not sure why it wasn't done that way.....
had to make some stainless tube couplers for the water lines to make some tigh turns. One funky one through the stringer. . Also finished the fuel lines to the carbs.

Awesome work!...I'm always curious when I see these extensive projects....are you in the marine business or a mechanic buy trade? The guy in the Northeast with the awesome turbine Skater jokes that he's a car salesman with a nice tool set...lol!
