I ran into the same problem about a year ago, never got an answer. there is a thread in here somwhere about it. it is not AVS has a flat bottom.

It Has A Staight V Bottom And Is At Extreem Marine In Miami I Saw The Boat And It Looks Ok Needs Some Tlc. When I Was There One Of The Motors Where Getting Rebuilt .thats All I Can Tell You

Had a few buddies in FL last year around this time of year. They said the boat was dirty and the paint looked bad. Extreme (Larry?) said he would put 500's he had at the shop in it and sell for $100K. He'd let it go as listed (502's) for $90K. And it's not a stepped hull. As shown I wouldn't expect 70 mph.
