In my case, needing stern lift, the Hydros outperform the Bravo's, hands down. Turning out 26"p 15"d QIV; labbed & re-pitched to 26.5, diameter shave to 14-5/8 by Throttle-Up....

BTW, they provide enough lift to require 1-1/2" drive spacers...

i am not sure if i need stern lift or not i cannot get the boat to layout when i am wide open.

when i am wide open the boat wants to hope around and you have to get out of the throttle.

On flat water and trimmed out to 6 or 7ish, the boat will tend to hop at WOT. If it's dead calm with no wind, it won't happen

I have eased the trim back down, (in) and pulled back on the throttles slightly to limit the hop. Once it's settles down you can throttle up and trim out again.

I don't usually boat in flat calm water. The boat shines in the rough stuff and will take all the throttle you can give her.

I was averaging 75mph in 2 to 4 foot seas and could have easliy been doing 80plus.

i have no problem at 75. where do you run your trim and tabs at 90?

To hit 90 plus in calm you need trim up to 9, no tabs.

Running in 2 to 4's my trim is set at 5 1/2 to 6, again, no tabs.

The only time I drop a tab down is when the wind is pushing me over hard to one side.

In my experience, running the tabs at any other time will upset the hull and ride.

thats what i wanted to know. i was running trim 7-8 at 90 but the boat still is jumping around i am going to try to trim up some more. thanks

And a full tank of fuel and throw four grown men and a glassy back rivah in Virginia......90+ til we ran out of room!! One of the coolest runs in flat water I've ever done!!
