Re: Whipple On A Efi 500 Nsx
I would think approximately 95 mph with 5 psi -6 psi boost.
I drove a whipple charged 454 magnum EFI in a NSX at 90 mph. 100 is possible if Dustin can richen up the computer to handle 7 psi boost( 4 inch upper pulley)

Its going to take an honest 670 Hp at the prop. You can get this with the 3.3 whipple/ intercooler using a 4" top pulley at 5600 RPM. you will need a labed 30 pitch 4 blade bravo 1 prop if you have 1.36 gears in the outdrive. You will also need a nose cone such as a hydromotive cut for low water pickup. Your computer will have to be programed to raise the rev limiter to 5600 rpm by whipple and to ritchen it up to avoid detonation at 30 degrees of total timing.

Re: Whipple On A Efi 500 Nsx
chad 1, let me know how your installation goes. I am thinking about putting the same set up on my 525EFI that Ed build me last summer. By the way it takes about 755HP to get a 26 AO to 110 with a 32 4-blade labbed bravo w/1.36 gears @6100rpm (my last AO)...
