Thanks for posting the link. Mine is a 1995 as well. I certainly do not have the ponies that you have under the hatch though. It will be a couple years before I get to beef that area up.

Thanks for all of the input. I should have the boat back at my house by the weekend so I will start devising my plan of attack.

Panther,

Is your interior white or pearl? I have the Pearl and I'm wondering if white is going to look goofy next to it.

Mine is pearl as well. The white looks fine on mine.

Nice thing about powdercoat is they have tons of colors available these days!

Cool thread So if I looked at dyno number correct you made 766.6hp? What drives are you running and what kind of speeds are you seeing?

Jackazz engine builder gave me bogus numbers back then....they made 716 hp... LOL

The new package by JCPERF made 838 HP.

I haven't stayed on it any longer than 5 seconds so I don't know top speed numbers but my guess is that the boat is capable of 88 mph. It ran 84-86 mph with drives neutral and tabs down. It cruises just a tad under 60 mph @ 3600 rpms though.

I'm running BMax HT's for drives. The regular Bravo's can't handle it. I had IMCO Extreme SC;s and they broke regularly. The BMax's on the other hand have gone two seasons and 100 hrs on the OCEAN with no problems. They're down at Dean's this winter so he can go thru them and reseal and/or replace anything that is needed. With this much power you need to keep up on stuff so it doesn't become junk.

I don't really push the boat, maybe I'll do a speed run next spring to see what she runs.

That 84-86 was that with the 716hp motors or the newer 838's?

It ran 83 with the IMCO's and 716's, 81 w/ the 716's and Bmax' and so far 86 w/ the 838's but drives trimmed to 4 and tabs at 5. 88 should be easy.
