Yes I have talk to Steve, he seems like a great guy.
The dash is shot out and busted up so we are rebuilding it from the bottom. Also the wood, not fiberglass around the leaking hatches was....... well not good. But we are on it and should be done in...........two weeks!!! Maybe three..LOL

Did you have a chance to take it out for a spin before tearing it down?
Not sure if you mentioned it but once you got the carbs cleaned up, how did the engines run/sound?
Did Steve give you an idea of some of the more recent service history?

I think i need to now more about this swim club race???!!!
No we did not take it out for a spin but the motors ran fine. We ran them for about 2 hours each, I also got a lot of the records of recent work from Steve. He did take good care of her, and had spent a lot of money!!!
