Default 28 Apache structure

They do have a problem with the stringers next to the fuel tank typically, and engine compartment stringers. Even when hoist kept or trailered. They are built like a tank , but water finds wood , even in the very best.
also my boat did not have coring, pure fiberglass about 3/4 inch thick hull. Looks like about 6 to 8 layers of glass mat on the hull. bottom

The hull bottom is solid glass, but the hull sides are cored with wood.

I had one with 540,s I sure do miss her . That boat bailed me out of some insane water i should have kept her .
