Mike :
On the CNC deck Plug the foam they used is a light factory made "rigid foam" fine cell structure. this one has many uses in industry. Insulation-Packing and so forth..

the Blocks are stacked & glued together with urethane foam cut to say "deck one" .then coated with a Coupling system then the "tooling putty" is sprayed on and then cut to deck two which is the actual deck while two was say a half inch less..just for discussion.

The putty provides the stable base for the Shell of hard putty.. The thing is the using of a factory made product that is very dimensionally stable and cutter friendly being the prime requisite in this case.

I will save you a piece when we get done as it goes in the trash after tooling.

I personally like the system a lot better than the spray Foam base as it is extremely Stable.

Steve-

This is Terra...I didn't want to take the time and effort to sign out of Sean's name and sign in under mine, sorry it's pure laziness on my side.

Anyway, I appreciate your words. That was a sign of a true gentleman. I understand why you did what you did. I just can't say that I would have done the same thing. But hey, it's not my job to persecute anyone for what they do. Cause Lord knows I don't need anyone doing it to me.

Best of Luck to you and all of your endevors, I truly mean that.

Terra

Steve thanks for showing me your project, it looked awsome. Also thank Steve and Timmy for their time and tour. Hows the Ice Tea boat coming? I'll be back in a week or so and would love to pop back in to see all the projects. Good luck it's looking sweet. Steve
