Thanks for all the info.
I am going to try & paint them, I am redoing 3 colors, red, black & yellow.
I will post some pics as the project moves.
Going to start taking everything out of the boat, this week.
Only cost me $220.00 for everything needed to prep, paint & seal.
What the hell, Im going to give it a try. If it does not work,, then we go back to plan (a) and send it to XT in Ohio.
Keep you all posted.

Paint
With all the bad weather, project is now 2 weeks late. I bought the paint yesterday, cleaner,,paint, sealer.
I am starting to remove the interior, this week-end.
Hoping to start them next week.
My interior is 3 colors, red, yellow & black.
Should be fun. Keep you all posted.
Jeff
If that doesnt work, I still have enough time to get them redone before the summer season

Ive had good results with vinyl paint....The existing vinyl has to be in good condition. If its cracked then it will have to be replaced. Painting only works if you want to change the color.

I painted my sun faded/bleachedc vinyl on my Velocity 260. While it looked good for a while, it got kind of sticky when temps got in the 90s... Also the paint began to disappear with the use of cleaners. I used Simple Green as it is pretty mild. It did last me 1 summer season and that is all I wanted, mine is currently being redone. So as long as you are not expecting a brand new interior, vinyl dye/paint will get you through a season as a temporary fix...

I think it depends on where you are using it. I painted the backs of my bolsters which are not in direct sunlight and are never sat in or even really touched. I could see a sunpad being a whole different animal than what I used it for.

Yeah the sunpad was the real problem. But the arm rests on the front bolsters got sticky too. If using on trim and side panels I don't see why vinyl dye wouldn't work permanently. But where your bare skin touches look out!!!
