Default 1993 awsom cat

How do these run with 700 hp and # 3's. Got a chance to buy one with no power.want to put my power in it. BUT my buddy had a 95 31" with bravo's and about 400 HP in it and I thought it was a dog Seemed like it wanted to ride low in the front and was a real pig to get on plane.I love the boats but don't want to buy something that will never please me. Thanks JOHN SR

Default awesome

100mph all day being conservative as early Awesomes tend to be on the heavy side. Great ride though.

Define "I thought it was a dog". See the clip of Randy's former 94 31' with a pair of 540's, bravo's w/ shorties.

My original set-up was a mild pair of 7.4 Merc 330HP mags on std. bravo's with no special bravo props. 70-72 all day at a very mild 4600 revs.

Default Cat

Then his was a dog.Got you wet when it finally did get up on plane.Seemed like it took forever to get moving.Had 28 bravo props.Just is not what I am used to.Just seemed very underpowered. One I am looking at is set up for 3's and has B7m 2 speeds.I just got to put in power and drives.Guess it might be worth trying. THANKS JOHN SR

CNC is his username on here. Last time I had talked with him, he still had his 31. Pair of BBC blower motors. Close if not above 900HP each. PM him for more info.
