Re: baja's and harleys
I used to have a Harley but I sold it. One thing I did realize, is that when I was riding my bike I was thinking I should be in my boat and vice versa. I found it very difficult (thanks to NY summers) to get enough time to justify both. Hell it's hard enough to justify just the boat. Now, if I was located in an area with a little more season, I'd have both without question. Just my .02

Willie G's daughter Karen Davidson is in my high school year book. She graduated a yr ahead of me. Willie G lives 2-3 mi from me on his estate.
This is Harley country but boating is my first choice whenever I can.
1995 Ultra I bought new. only 16k mi.

My Brother has an 03 Heritage Softail.
I have a '97 Boss 272.
He won't come back to the lake and spend the weekend on my boat cause he said he can put fuel in his Harley for three months for what it costs me for fuel for one weekend!
How true...

24 Outlaw and a 2001 Ultra GPST...Boating is my passion, bike is for transportation (although very cool transportation). Really like the bike but would rather be boating somewhere where the water is crystal clear and bikinis all around.
One day, hope to have a huge enough boat, can ride down to the river front, drop the ramp on my Sunseeker (like a jet ski garage), and ride the bike onto the back of the boat! Now THAT would be cool...

Re: baja's and harleys
Oh, forgot... and when it gets too damn cold in IL to boat in the Fall and Spring, I can always throw on my assless chaps and go riding! JK about the assless chaps by the way...at least on me!

2001 Baja 302 2004 1200 Sporty Custom.
Love both but boating is where its at. You can get into too much trouble on a bike and they are not nearly as forgiving.
Its also hard to invite chicks backt to your bike to have drinks and spend the night............."talking".
