Default Drive fluid / Gear lube in bilge

Every weekend when I raise the hatch on my 2000 25OL (502/Bravo I) I notice that the gear lube bottle is empty. I fill it and go on my way. I recently noticed that the gear lube is leaking into the bilge. There is none on the outside of the transom or drive. Further inspection revealed that the plug on the end of the drive lube bottle's hose was fine. I looked in the bilge and noticed a 2" stream of gear lube running down the back of the transom, under where the drive mount is. It takes about 4 days for the bottle to empty completely. I'm going to drop it off Monday at my local bank, I mean Baja service center to have it repaired but any thoughts would be appreciated. Again, no gear lube on the outside at all but plenty of it in the bilge. Thanks.

Sounds like a cracked /leaking hose at the point where it connects to the drive

It was a seal in the outdrive that was not fully seated. I had it repaired this winter, they just pressed a new seal in place and everything's perfect now. FYI...

its the o-ring in the cap. mine did that. when you refill it (or change fluids) it falls out. buy a new cap and i bet the problem is gone.
