Drive settings
I have a 2000 36 Outlaw and I need to know what is the preferred settings for the drives concerning alignment. I did check the tech area and what I saw there tells me with props spinning out I should be toed in about 1/8 but it was not specific to this boat.
Can anybody confirm what it should be. I have not measured it but it appears to be toed in about 3/4 of an inch.
Thanks,
Smitty

Re: Drive settings
Straight (parallel) to 1/8 inch in.
I have ran mine both ways and have not seen any difference.
The important thing is to run your drives up to where you like to operate the boat and check them at that point.
I have been told that if you have a drive alignment issue that from static (all the way down) up to normal operating position it can change.
Good luck

Re: Drive settings
Mine were 3/4" out, I set them to
1/8" in.
Before the adjustment, there was
a "wander" issue, after, no wander.

Re: Drive settings
Thanks Guys !!!
I measured mine tonight and it was toed in 5/8 of an inch. It is now set at 1/8 of an inch. Hopefully I will see 1 mph more out of it !!!
I will report any speed increases if there are any.
