Was over half throttle but no way near full. Seems I need a bit more pitch. Boat planes with no tabs very fast.

before you do any work to the prop i would try a 24 hydromotive first that is a better prop a friend has a 99 outlaw
and the boat runs 69.8 gps with a hydro much faster prop.

Before you worry about getting a taller prop trim the thing out and put it at wot otherwise you will be guessing in the dark. If it actually hits the rev limiter try the same thing with a few people in it and a full tank of gas, you'd hate to buy a prop that would only work when boat is empty with no loa. Back when my boat(272) only had 650 hp it would pull a 26 pitch 4 blade to 5000-5200 depending on load around 75-76 mph so your prop is probably closer to ideal than you think,Smitty

Good advice. I agree! Was by myself with a little less than half tank of gas.

I need to trim it out and see where the rpm's go. Will do it this weekend and report back.

Thanks
