blewbyyou, at wot im running at 4800 and motor is bone stock with a k&n filter. is something not right with my numbers? i want to send the prop out to get the rmps at 5000, would this give me a little more top end with labbing.

New boat and got afraid of the RPM's being at 5000. Understand now the motor range is 4600 to 5200 and the rev limiter will kick in at 5350 RPM. Water was about an 18" chop and boat has hydraulic steering. Boat was so stable and solid.
I'm thinking I may need some more work to this prop as far as increasing the pitch a bit.
