Water stains on interior sidewalls
I am looking at a 1991 270,it has a 525sc motor in it.The boat is very clean but there are water stains on the interior side panels. It looks like it is coming in from the rub rail.Is this common and something to be concerned with?

Re: Water stains on interior sidewalls
Can't say I have ever seen that before, but if the boat is in good condition, and especially if it was stored indoors I would not worry about it much.
You could pull the rub rail off and seal the joints good and probably solve the problem.
Just depends on the overall condition of the boat.
It should run well with the 525SC.
Good luck
