Opinions on 30 outlaw-shorties or exhaust?
So, I was looking at the new 496ho CMI headers for roughly a 4mph gain. That estimated 4 mph will be $7200 + install. So, now I wonder what would 2 shortie lowers give me for roughly $3600? Would it give me any benefit at all? Would getting on plane be a problem?
I am just looking for some of your opinions here....any thoughts????

The exhaust will most likely net
you something.
The short lowers....I don't know.
The 30's I've seen have the drives up
fairly far anyway.
If you do go shorties, you may have to
fiddle with props, possibly 5 blades,
to make them work.

I wouldny count on 4mph with exhaust. and I think the drives are already hgigh and could cause problems, but the exhast will make it sound like a monster
