Any benefits in adding boxes or shorties to a 36 Outlaw/575sci's?

Mine has Stellings boxes,
with the 32 bravo's it will run 85

With the 32 maximus's it ran 86-87
but was only turning 4900.
This is where the shorties come in
.....getting the 5 blades "dried out"
should pick up the rpm ( and, hopefully,
the speed)

I think the best he ever saw was 94. The boat planed and handled very well. He did everything at once and I cannot tell you if the lowers helped or not.
Here are some pictures.

they got me on this whole shorty kick.
With 2" shorties, the propshafts will
still be 1" below the bottom, the'll still
be running submerged.
The IMCO lower has more surface
area, due to the larger nose cone,
than the bravo shop lower.
I'm not running the speeds that require a huge
nosecone, so this will only be added drag.
The bravo shop lower has a cavitation plate
incorperated in to it, where the others use a
bolt on splash plate.
The goal is 90
