For my Ford 7.3 PSD Buddies...
I just completed one of the easiest, least expensive, and best upgrades ever on my 7.3 Power Stroke.
1) Changed out the CHEAP, almost rusted thru pot metal thermostat housing with a Billet unit.
2) Changed the stock 195 degree thermostat to a 203*.
3) Changed the upper hose to the upgrade one that goes around the belt and not thru it. You no longer have to pull the hose to change the belt.
All for less them $100.00 and only one hour to complete.
Here are the sites that you can buy the billet housing and thermostat from and you can get the hose at any good auto parts store.

I know several that have made this upgrade and it is the best money you can spend.
Go on the site and read the advantage of having a 203* thermostat instead of the stock 195*.
Plus my truck is just 4 years old and only has 60,000 miles and the stock thermostat housing was rusting out quick.
Here are some before and after pictures.

Gates Hose Number 22433
Napa Hose Number 9066
This is the hose used on an Ambulance and other 7.3's equiped with dual alternators.
It fits perfectly and there is plenty of clearence between it and the belt.
