2000 272 w/o motor value
What do you guys think a 272 boss would be worth minus motor-its a 2000,hull perfect, twin full ram hyd steering. Gaffrig gauges w/water pressure and fuel pressure gauges added. I would probably include a fresh max worx xr drive and stainless marine hi tq 3 exhaust with tails too, also has powder coated l angles w/dana solid mounts and nice eagle trailer with new brakes and tires plus full cavas top like new and mooring cover. Just like everyone else I dream about getting a different boat and wonder what my options are,Smitty

Why don't you buy a cheap 502 and stick it in there. Nobody is going to want a boat without a motor.

Re: 2000 272 w/o motor value
Hmm..i'll answer this question from a newbie perspective. I just got a 92' 270 in excellent shape a month ago. Only took 1 short ride before it got winterized
So....I would think anyone interested in it 'without' the motor would be looking to get it on the cheap. And anyone who is just looking for 'a starter boat' prolly doesn't have the technical knowledge to jump into something like that without feeling like there's a chance they could of spent more $ than if they had just bought a complete boat.
Soooooo...tough call.
One question...where do you store the cover in the picture when you're not using it? Is it out of site? Thanks.
Good Luck,

I leave the cover at home unless I have intentions of staying on boat over night,it does fold down and lay acrossed the engine cover when its not used but on the boat,Smitty
