If I have pumped the water out of the motors (496 HO's) for the winter and I start it on the muffs, it takes mine approximately 30-40 seconds for the water to start spitting out my exhaust. Trust me, I stand there and count...I always get nervous when I get to "one thousand 29, one thousand 30" but then it usually starts flowing. It's about the same on both of my motors and the impeller on the starboard motor is much newer than the port motor.

Busta: That makes me feel much more at ease. I'm being quite cause I don't want to jinks myself, but I should be joining the ranks with an '05 30 OL on Saturday after nearly 2 years of picking, proding, and wishing on this forum. Will make an official announcement if all comes together....Thanks.
