Default Outlaws On Lake Mead

Hit the lake with Moses today and had a great time.

I am extremely happy with the 29 Outlaw. Even though it only has 7.4 MPI's it performs great. Pulls super strong out of the hole with decent mid range. Tops out low to mid 60's with three people on board and full tank of gas (no TV, microwave or A/C though! ). Good enough for now and I was able to keep up with a 36 Outlaw and that beak boat! Handling is predictable Baja "True V" steady and I can crank it over hard at almost any speed. The water was pretty flat but when I did get a chance to cross a few wakes I barely felt them. We did get a chance to hit a handfull of small rollers that helped us get a little air, much to Moses delight! I told him that if he likes that, wait till he gets out in the ocean!

Anyway, here are a couple photos.

Why does the boat look so stubby here?

Nice pics. I'll make sure I bring my camera next trip. Get some running shots.

Doc, we need to enjoy it while we can. If you notice the pics we are down about 50ft. It's kinda sad, growing up in Vegas I have been using the lake since I was a kid. Now with the population growing and the high usage from CA. the lake is at an all time low.

Moses,

Yeah that is a real shame. There are so many lakes in this country today feeling the same effects. I have seen some specials on television about Lake Mead and the low levels.

I do believe the West coast is hardest hit however.

Cannot imagine growing up in Vegas. We made our first trip out there last year and really enjoyed it, but it is a different world then I am use to.

Take care brother.
