what is the top speed you should expect from a 36' baja outlaw with twin 502 mags 24p 4blade prop 1/2 tank of gas on a light chop? anyone out there getting better than 63.9mph gps? is there more speed there that i'm not tapping into ? don't want to put prochargers on just yet. thanks for your help

What is your maximum rpm attained?? Sounds like you are close to where you need to be. Remember the 36 is a big heavy hull so it will take alot of power to go significantly faster. I speak from experience.

If it has 502 MPI's in it, it's probably before Baja
raised the X dimension on those, and the 4 blades
may be costing you a couple mph up top.

I remember seeing boating mag test one back in
98' or so W/502's and it ran around 67, and it had 3 blades.

This time of year ( heat and humidity) is also not
best for getting max perf. out of them.

I'd kill to be only 3 mph off my best top speed
at this time of year a couple of weeks ago
It was - 10
