Buying help
Hello all..... I am new to the BAJA world and am looking for a 2000-2005 25' outlaw 496 ho or 502 pretty loaded. Will I be able to buy one of these in good shape for between 40,000 and 55,000 ?? or will they all be junk for that price? thanks for the help and I cant wait to enter the BAJA world

Youi are in the ballpark with that price range, and there are some really good boats out there.
Choose one that has really been TLCīd by the owner, which is often the case with 25OLīs and you can find a great deal, in my view.
Three of my friends have recently bought used ones from the US (and its not easy to look around, when you live so far away) and the boats (98/99 w. 502īs and one HP500) are really good.
The 25 is a little tougher and doesnīt generally suffer with age.
Only the ones that have been left out in the sunshine (and salt) too long and too often, become hard work to buff up.
My 2003 (delivered July 2002) was in Ill. for 1 1/2 years and only did 5 hours. I bought it from the second owner with 70 hours, and it was still like new!
