36 Ft Outlaw w/ twin 500's, Which prop?
Ok, I jus picked this up this 36 Ft Outlaw SST w/ twin 500's, hydraulic steerin, shower heads on the outdrives, and etc... Its runnin 25p 3 blades now but feels like top fuel drag car if you take off to fast... Haulin 8 people, couple hundred lbs. in cargo we still can go 71-75 at upper 4K to lower 5K, I kinda new to power boats, someone know what pitch I can goto for a lil more top end, and wont be doin the burnouts on takeoff?

As you will hear a couple times, contact Julie at Throttle Up. Just Google search it. Give her your complete setup, and where your at with WOT.
I also noticed where your drive showers are located and from what I have been told there opposite of where they should be. You want them on the side that the prop is forcing water up, not on the downside, going to get another set myself and just have it on both sides.

Very nice!!!!, thats why I mentioned talking to Julie, she will set you up with the right prop.
I want to color the side air intakes like that, really sharp look to it.
Sounds like you have a very similar setup as Dock Holiday, he is very knowlegible on Baja's, send him a PM or visit his website http://www.dockspokerrun.com/

That is a good looking boat. Welcome to the family and the board.
Julie at Throttleup has always done my props but I have several friends that tell me that Brett at B-Blades knows how to make the Baja's run.
If you are seeing 75 MPH then you are probably at the top of what that boat with 500's will do stock.
The key is getting the RPM's up to what Mercury recommends at WOT. For example on my 500 EFI's the magic number was 5250 RPM. I had a pair of 26 pitch labbed 4 blade bravo's that were the best but they were thin and we slung a blade off of one of them.
My "X" is higher then yours being a 2002 model and you probably will be much faster with the 3 blades.
Call both Julie and Brett and tell them all the following and they can tell you if they can help and you decide which one you fell like will do the best job.
1) Boat size and year model
2) Engines & Horsepower
3) Drive type and gear ratio
4) Current props, type & pitch
5) Spinning props in or out
6) Max RPM at WOT
7) Max speed currently at WOT
Good luck and keep us posted.

You've probably got the best performing
props on it right now.
4 blades will take away your "burnout while
taking off", but will most likely cost you
a few mph on the top end
