Good conditions an honest 72 on GPS. See attached pic.
This is freshwater, 750' above sea level, 2 people, 1/2 tank fuel. It's pretty consistant though in all conditions. Very pleased for 750hp.

Wow this sounds like deja vu. I was faced with the same comparison in 04. My buddy had an 02 29 with 496's (nonHO's) and it ran the same speed roughly as mine. Great boat. My wife wanted the enclosed head, and galley pack. I will say the sink and fridge have come in handy, but the enclosed head is very small. At 5'8" I can barely get in it. It's ok for her and great for the kids, other than that, it's good for storage. It is what it is. There are some great deals to be found on 29's, I'd go 2002 or newer. Higher x-dem. I believe and rumered stringer issue is resolved after 2001. As far as 30's you can't go wrong, it's just going to run you a solid 20-30k more for basiclly the same boat as the 29, just the different cabin and overall styling. Good luck with whatever you decide......

What set? The 30's or the 28's or the 26's? I have them available in Maximus & Bravo 1. some Hydromotives in 4 & 5 blade configs, 27 & 29's.
I had more Bravo 1 stuff, but you know the story there......

Non HO's come with 26P Bravo 1's. HO's come with 28P Bravo's. My props are bone stock, thought of labbing, but just don't want the thin sharp edges, at least not for now. I've labbed in the past with other boats and just don't think it's worth it for maybe 2mph.
