Default Baja Wire Color Code

I bought some original Baja gauges. I am told that they are Teleflex gauges. These gauges have the connections in a plug, there are not seperate terminals on the gauges. I am trying to figure out the color codes on the wires.

I have figured out that the Black is ground, Blue is lights, and I belive that Purple is the ignition switch. Now what I don't know is what the Grey wire is on the Tach/Hour gauge. Also don't know what the Tan wire is on water temp gauge, what the light blue is on the oil pressure gauge, and the pink wire is on the fuel gauge.

Anyone have any Ideas?

Those wires are from your senders on the engines and the tank.

the gray wire is the actual tach signal coming from the coil....the other wires are coming from the sending units and would get hooked up to the terminal on the gauge labled "S" if it has one

Your codes are correct and they do go on the "s" post. Also on mine the trim gage is brown with white stripe.

As I am redoing my gauges and have oh so much fun.
