Hammereab,

Nice boat. I was wondering where in central NY you are from? Finger lakes area? I see the boat attached to a Ford. Alot of smart people on this Baja page.

ET, I'm from the Utica area. We do most of our boating on Oneida Lake and the St. Lawrence. I've never been to Sacandaga before. Any problems there with noise or speed? I like those graphics you have! What motors and props are you running?

Hammer,

No speed limits (except for obvious areas), no noise related problems at all. 496 mags with 26 - 4 blades. The lake has been pulled down, but is still perfect for running. It even gave MANY more sandy beaches for everyone to gather at. You should take a trip over. It is only about 90 minutes to the lake.

I have the same boat, but our stripe is pink where yours is red. I'll try and take closer photos of it this weekend. I am also turning 3 blade 25 pitch props. I had my blades labbed by York Propellers over the winter. With my higher X-dimension and a few other goodies, John at York suggested we pitch them closer to a 26. I now turn 5,000 rpms which is good for about 74-76 mph depending on load, gas, and weather conditions.
