It looks as if your faring may possibly be a plexiglass material but can't really tell. Can you shed some light? I am attaching a pic of my 1990.

BTW....If anyone has any ideas for updated graphics feel free to chime in

Playn,
It is indeed a plexiglass type faring. It came stock with the boss package. I would check with Baja to see if a faring is available for your boat.

Doc - It's an 1989 250 Sport. I've removed the plexi windshield and had a fiberglass fairing made. Raised the "X" 4". Installed full Hyd. Steering. Installed K-Planes and installed a 514 cu.in. motor with solid race mounts/cradles. I used to have a 630HP 572 cu.in. motor in the boat without the raised x dimension but the boat was so far out of control at anything above 75 it was scary! Raiseing the x was the best thing I have ever done to this boat. I am having a fiberglass hatch with a scoop being made shortly. Thanks for the compliments. Dave Warden

Playn' - Baja does not have a race fairing available for our boats so I had a mold made. Here's a pic of the fairing. Dave Warden

Go to the "attach file" box below the "your reply" box then click "browse". Find the file of the picture on your computer and click it on. Then click "submit reply"

Depending on the size of the picture it may not take it and you'll need to resize it
