I did the add on. Anything will be better that what I had before. It would walk all over the place at speed. Went from a whipple charged fuel injected 502 to this 605 setup. Just a little worried about where we mounted them. Actually took them down the transon a about halfway kindove like a Sunsation. I was able to hit 85 with a 28p4. Trying to figure out the prop setup. Has anyone tried any of the 5 or 6 blade combinations on these Baja,s? I was thinking with less slip I could get a higher top end number. Trying to get in the Triple digits.

I tried a untouched stock 28 pitch 5 blade maximus when I had the stellings box on,my boat tq'd so bad I thought it would flip, after ten wot passes I sheared off a max worx billet prop shaft. I took the box off because it only slowed my boat down and I AVOID 5 blades (best speeds have been with 32 labbed mercs turning past 6000),Smitty
I don't have a shorty thought, things might be different with one. If I get some extra funds I might buy one still this season.

You will want the full hyd steering as soon as you can upgrade,my boat was all over the place with twin ram external, the full got rid of 90% of it,Smitty
