Come-on guys someone take this boat off my hands so I don’t have to store it for the winter. Just dropped the price.

I have to be honest with you. You are still way high in this market. 280's are not selling at 15,000. The 240 of that age was selling for less than 13,000 two summers ago.

I think if you really want to sell it, you are going to have to be well below 10,000.

Nice boat. If you decide to take Nightlife's advice send me a PM.

I found a nice 24' with big power (75+mph boat) for well under $10k, but it was just too far away. I would be interested if you decide to go down some more.

If not, good luck with the sale or just keep it and enjoy it. Gas has actually dropped a bit lately. I am sure that will change after the election though.

Looks like I’m going to have to winterize. I think I paid too much for it a few years ago. It’s a nice boat I just don’t get a chance to use it. Labor day weekend was the only time this year the boat got wet.

Speed.

its not the same hull as yours, you have a 21 degree hull and if your including the swim platform yours is a 22' footer.

in 88 if you payed more than 28,000 you got phucked. my boat sold for 26,000 to a friend of mine, I bought it in 1990 fall for 16,700. with a 330hp bravo. his new wife at the time wanted to pick out a new boat with her choice of colors mine is red/black/ white/ burgandy. there new boat a 250sport early 90 was red/ black/ grey. with a 365hp was 36,000. that was a ten g jump in boat prices from 88 to late 89. There a nice boat, I always wished the back seat was glassed in or a big bulkhead and going under to the cabin was cored glass in stead of plexi glass. that was the weak link it this boat but I still have mine and am in the middle of do those changes also I GOT RIDE OF THE 300LB ENGINE HATCH and with a friend but a cored light weight hatch with pro stock scoop needed that with the 650hp motor and now this spring the 1050hp motor going in we need to move stuff. its a great ruff water boat some of My friends in there custom24s could not stay with me when it was rough they would back off, thats why I get pissed hereing other on oso call us bayliner of offshore and theres never been a 24 around me that could pass me so keep the boat it gives a good ride and if everything turns around in the spring you could get your 13,000gs oh I have a faring instead of a windshield to like the 24ol bought it from baja after a deep stuff and my hull did not seperate like that custom built 24 from LI that was last year and my wave was in the 12 size not a wake so you got a good boat there speedboatr. artie

Thanks for all the info. I don’t really want to sell it, just don’t have time to use it and I know leaving it sit around is hard on it. Besides the storage cost, winterization, etc.

Air Time, did you put the windscreen on? That was my only complaint about the boat. The lack of a wind screen / deflector like on some of the newer outlaws. That 2” piece of Plexiglass on the top of the windscreen deflects the wind just over your head. If I keep the boat that would be something that I would like to add.
