Dave,

I met that fellow at the Lake Travis Poker Run about three years ago now while out visiting Jay & Barb.

The guy had that boat custom built at a cost of over $3K and it would run about 80 MPH. They actually chased it with the Baja down the lake and it was faster than his Baja.

Pretty cool project.

Mark

Well I cannot locate my Lake Cumberland pictures right now of Spotlight so moving own.

My next experience with a Baja Poker Run boat was with "Poker Face". I first saw the boat at Lake Travis when Blane Aarup was running it for the Ski Dock Poker Run.

I did not get a chance to ride in the boat then but did get to drive it in Jacksonville three months later.

That was one very sweet boat that was fast for a Baja with stock 525's.

yea that would suck to have a toy that is faster than the real thing but it wouldnt take much to be faster than mine at 54 on he gps LOL now as far as the picture with the boat sitting half on the trailer and half on the pavement me and the guy that dropped it would have some serious issues

A few of Poker Face from the "Big One" in Destin Florida.

Blane had not attended that run before and he followed us around. I slowed down a few time to let him catch up but he hung pretty good for the most part.

Well after Poker Face there was a low point on the Baja Poker Run tour when they did a 23 Outlaw with a matching Hummer painted by Kustom Kolors.

I'm still looking for those pictures of that rig I shot in Jacksonville, FL.

Pictures to follow.

Yellow, blue and red. It was on the cover of one of the Baja Magazines, shortly there after it became Poker Face.
