Okay back to the year they downsized and used the new 23 Outlaw and Hummer
This was taken at the dealer meeting in Florida. That was a HELL OF A GOOD TIME!
I have some pictures of the rig on display at the Jacksonville Firefighters Poker Run also but still looking for those.

Well here are some photos of the last few days work. Most of them come from today as I forgot my camera yesterday. Drives, Motors, Bell housing came out yesterday. Started cleaning up bilge and wiring today. Tomorrow Paint and work on motors. Plugs, wires, header gaskets, Bilge pump.....
Are you putting on 380 k-plane bottom plates too ?

Now back to "Poker Face"
I remember this boat very well and all of a sudden it disappeared and then we had the famous "Poker Face".
Story is that they built the top deck light for speed. Remember this was the first 35 with 525 power and they were shooting for 90+ MPH. Rough conditions testing in Florida and they cracked the top deck.
Boat went back to Bucyrus and sadly they built the top deck the second time too strong and too heavy costing them a few MPH.
I drove the boat in Jacksonville with 98 degree temps, four people and 1/2 tank of fuel and we saw 89 MPH on the GPS speedo.
Clayton and his team hit a major home run on this paint scheme but the color is dark and the boat gets so hot that you cannot stand to be in it on a 90 degree day. At speed the heat radiates off the deck and slaps you in the face like a blow dryer on HOT pointed right at you.

Spotlight
Lesson Learned:
NEVER TAKE A BOAT ON A TRAILER AND TRY TO LOAD BOTH THE BOAT AND TRAILER ONTO A LARGER FLATBED TRAILER.
AT LEAST NOT WITHOUT A CRANE AND PROPER STRAPS.

OKAY MOVING ON TO THE FAMOUS "LUCKY 7'S"
Definately one of my favorites and the one I messed up on and posted some spy photos a little early! LOL
Of course there were about five Baja employees and one crazy painter sending me stuff on this awesome boat and saying it is TOP SECRET.
I saw this boat do 99.9 MPH on the GPS with seven people up on Lake Erie.
Simply bas ass from bow to stern.

We got our first ride on Lucky 7's at Lake of the Ozarks and conditions were so rough that we did not break the 80 MPH mark but there was no questions this boat was super fast.
