Default H2X question...

What is the use of the loop looking deal in the engine compartment of my h2x? Its similar to the one pictured in the link. It is on the top right of the engine compartment in the picture.

It is the hole right underneath that black and white sticker in the top right side of the engine compartment. Its not in the transom it is along the top of the opening of the engine compartment.

Procharged H2x???? I'd like to see that. I ran into a guy a couple years ago, that had a whipple on a 502 powered h2x, and said it was in the upper 80's, and was a handful, but was fun to drive.

I have not had a gps on it yet but it is definetly up in that range at least. I push a 4 blade 27 pitch prop at 6000 rpms. It would do more if i could hang on to it but like you say its a handful at speed.

Prochargedh2x, whats your hp at? I got my h2x back with newly installed 540ci approx 600hp but haven't tested yet. Do you have full hydraulic external steering ? I wonder is full hyd steering would make it easier to drive this beast. (chinewalk)
