I would think that ACV would be a little higher than $10K. Low book for a '02 25 is almost $20K (not incl trailer). What's sad is that trade-in for the '05 that I am selling is only $23K. High retail is $30K and I have a contract on it for $37K. Hell, I paid $10K higher than low book at the auction.
With that being said, the market is crazy. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. In the past, some of the bajas I've sold have been under, and some way over book.
One of the problems is that people think that they should only pay wholesale for anything these days. Another issue is with some of the auctions, people paying way too much. Here in Texas, wakeboard boats are selling for above average retail prices at the auction.
There was an '02 or '03 33 Outlaw that ran on Friday. I didn't get to watch it so I don't know what it sold for. I'll call on Monday and see what I can find out. That will give us an idea of what ACV is.

The reality is I can help Statement. They are great guys and build one of the best boats. They just need the right team.
Stay tuned

Bill's numbers are right on. If you are in doubt call Shogren and ask what number should be on it to sell quickly (30-60 days). Baja is entry level performance boating, no one will pay a premium for the boat. The 02 in question is 9 model years old, hard to finance and buyer will probably need to pay cash. 33 Outlaws aren't exactly rare either.

I like to play around selling boats... I have found thats it all about what buyer will pay... it's hard to go off the book on a boat right now.
As far as the 33 I'm talking about I'll let it go for a real good deal.
