Default 1995 272 inslander prop?

I am having trouble with my prop like spinning out. I had a 3 blade prop with a pitch of I believe it was 23 or 24 it would always spin out when I pulled a tub with 3 people on it. I was told to get a 4 blade 22pitch and that will eliminate the problem. I got one and i was at the lake this past weekend and had 9 people in my boat and it spun out 3 times. It spins out when I go to give it gas and sometimes take off. It also sometimes spins out when i turn and give it gas. Should I have a different pitch does anyone else have this problem? What should I do?
Thank you!

wow - 9 passengers and pulling a tube? id say your props are exactly what you should be running assuming stock power. my guess is you are having weight issues and are blowing out trying to get up to speed with that big load. does it do the same thing with say half the amount of people and coolers in it?

What do you mean by spin out? Ventilating, as in your prop pulls air from the surface, won't bite and revs up?

How much power do you have? The four blade is a good idea for tubing, but with that heavy a load, I would look into a Revolution 4 in a 19" or maybe 21".

Also. Give us some details about your gps speed @ ??? rpm's ect. What make and model props are you running? It's hard to help without this info.

If you have PVS holes in the prop, you might try smaller holes. I have a Rev 4 on my 252 and it never blows out.
