I'm sure "29 Outlaw" can give you lots more information but he has reported speeds in the 78 mph range with this set up.

My boat has twin HO's, SST, etc. It cost $116,000. That included $3000 for taxes and $5000 for an aluminum, triple axle trailer.

Thanks... That may be my next boat, if I can talk the SO into it.. but it'll be at least a year.

BTW: What's your top speed? Do you have superchargers or anything added?

Remember that beginning in 2003 they are supposed to come out with the new 30 Outlaw. I'm sure it will be nice but I'm sure the "new" price tag will put it out of reach for some. I would be willing to part with my boat this winter if you were interested.

As far as speed - there is a thread on the Baja forum that outlines my recent prop testing. However, last time I ran WOT a couple of weeks ago, I saw 77.2 @5000rpm with 27 3 blades.

$111,000.00 for my 2001 29 w/trailer and 454 mags loaded right up with everything. I did trade to Formula's in on this so it is closer to retail list price

29Outlaw,

77.2 is a very respectable speed. That 496HO must really be strong. I know a guy that has a 99 model with 454's and only gets around 65MPH out of it.

$3000 for taxes!!! That Sucks!!!

We have a limit here in North Carolina of $1500.00, and I am glad because I hit it with the 36 Outlaw.

My 36 with 500 EFI's came in with 26 pitch 4-blades, I would love to see 77. The scale on the crane that lifted it off the flat bed showed a weight of right at 9000 lbs. I figure around 72 to 74 probably.

Take care
Mark

There is a used 2002 29 with HO's listed in the Boat Trader in Arkansas. The price is $119,000. I sent the guy an email asking him about it. He has not replied to my email.

Regarding the post above - The price of $119,000 does not include a trailer.

He also said that his boat with 496HO's can run 81 on GPS. I must have gotten ripped off. Mine with HO's can only run 77 on gps.
