Default How does the factory 302 bimini top mount?

Maybe a stupid question, but does the factory bimini top that Baja put on the 302 mount to the windshield? I've found a guy that claims to have a brand new unused factory 302 top in purple (though he does not actually own a 302). Showed me pix where it's marked 'Baja 302'. He said it measures 76 inches between the mounting posts. The only pix I was able to find of a 302 with a bimini top was this one:

http://web-1.boatshop24.com/en/motor...sa-302-3471238

I just want to be sure before I end up buying (yet another) piece of useless junk. Also, is it hard to find the mounting hardware? Only thing he's got is the stainless frame top, the canvas and the cover.

As a side note, I really appreciate all the help everybody here gives clueless idiots like me....

My 302 bimini actually mounts to the side of the boat on the inside. I have a Boss though with the low white plexiglass windshield.

Huh, that's interesting. Mine has a glass windshield. I never knew they came from the factory with a plexi windscreen. I'll look and see if maybe I can mount it to the inside. Thanks!

I added one to my 405. IT came from Great Lakes Boat Top. Not sure if they are teh same company for teh 302, but may be worth a call. They had great install instructions, and probably can get you the hardware you need.
Great Lakes Boat Top Co.

I am looking for a cockpit cover and a bimini top for my 2000 302 Boss.

Any ideas on a good company(s) for this?

Phone numbers, pics, websites addresses... etc.

Any actual contact details or links much appreciated!

Thanks so much
