Thanks every body,( Miller lite.) I thought with the land and sea
you should alone pick up10% Isn't that their claim to fame? I just would asoume with the work you did you get more than 14-15mph. What do you think you pick up with the pro charger alone
and if you don,t mind me asking what do you estimate the cost was. Thanks again every one for you help.

Boss, before the Procharger I added the exhaust and stern jack at the same time and with those two additions, I picked up 4 mph(64mph to 68mph). I wasn't close to their "10%" but I it was on there and I had already paid to have my trim cylinders extended, so I left it on. The Procharger alone took me from 68mph to 82mph and that is running 6lbs of boost. The cost of the Procharger plus the install was around $5800.

Luv-n-it -
Be prepared to spend around 10K - I personally woyuld not s/c the motor without upgrading the internals.... you can definitely bolt on a whipple, procharger etc. for about 5 - 6K, but you need to beef up the rest of the motor as well. For me, n/a was the only way to go. still reach mid-high 70's without any problems...

Yeah, 272's are pretty much pigs of the water. I luv my Shooter, great looks, party capable, and you can sleep on it. Very nice boat overall. I put a 454Maggie with a Blower on it with other goodies and it puts out around 535hp on the dyno. Even with that all I can "really" say is that it does ~70mph when loaded like we drive 'em. Yes I have seen 74, buit it's cold and I'm light. I like the "rough water" comment. I guess it's all relative, I boat in the NY/NJ area nad have seee some pretty big stuff - and the boat handled it, but there's no way I'd say this is a rough-water boat. But I certainly rule on the local waterways. Kinda like a big go-cart with the 4blade and all the torge. I can stomp on the stick and take off... BTW - can you say Luke Chinewalker?
Take care
