You already have the flame arrestor, call ben at Arizonia speed and marine, He'll do your ECU for 300 if your real nice and they told me the fuel optimizer was not needed and you can pick up the msd for around 250-300 at CP performance and I picked up used stailess CMI headers for 900 on this board

I had the same setup and got the same speed out of a 2000 model. They are a very nice boat.
In my opinion the best money spent if you really want serious speed in in a blower. Whipple and ProCharger both have some good setups.
I have seen good results with both. But be prepared to spend close to $10,000 to get everything you need including hydraulic steering, new prop, installation, etc.
The 272 is a very good rough water boat. Frive it like you stole it.

On my 272 502 efi, I added Stainless Marine exhaust, Land or Sea stern jack, Stage III Procharger and picked up 14-15 mph. Oh, and I've put 125 trouble free hours on it since the installation.

no cheap answer here.... gotta spend some $$ to go faster....
I have a 272 Shooter - went the route of a N/A motor vs blower - for re-sale purposes only. S/C boats around here are a bit difficult to get rid of.....
With modications to the heads and cylinders (.030 over) a new cam, headers, hi-comp pistons, inconnel valves, new springs, etc., etc., I picked up nearly 10 mph. Also converted from EFI to carb motor due to problems with the EFI system leaning out at the high end of the torque curve.....
Remember that with the addition of HP you need to be careful with the drive (assuming stock Bravo) - eventually you'll want to change out the gears or go with an IMCO set up.....
oh, and don't forget the hydraulic steering......
ain't perf boating fun!
