agreed.
600sci spins stock 28 B1 right up to 5200.
spins labbed 28 B1 to 5400 redline too easily.

If it's really making 750, you'll prolly need a 30

the only way to get away from blower surge with carbs is to bump up the idle rpm, but it's not good for the bravo.. the other problem is if you get the idle down under 800-900 it will usually stall when you put it in gear. I've been through all these issues and have also tired Nickerson's carbs. kinda is what it is.. switch to injection if you cant live with it. FAST makes a nice setup

I had 740hp and ran 28p mach 4 blade @ 6000 - 6100 rpm.

Take it back and make him tune it right.

As mentioned earlier, the builder does not spend much time at idle................

Let the builder have a chance to correct it. Not sure how far you are from him but that is where I would start.
That thing will be a monster on the water, post speeds once you get it dialed in with the correct prop.
