Not bashing any boats but if Baja and Fountain can run in the rough with a Cig or Apache then how come you don't see them in the races?? Fountain yes but it's their race version. I could be wrong but I don't see any bajas or lightnings out there.

i don't know but never had thoughts of buying a baja and if you're telling me a 36OL is the same hull has any Larry Smith, you're nuts!!! There's a 31 in the classifieds that would beat the chit out of you in any water, rough or flat!!

4 yrs on Lake Michigan huh??? man you must be a master with rough water. i grew up on Lake Michigan and been out in some big waves probably 6 to 8s but was in a 41 Saber and 38 TG both with huge power and 6s and i would say we ran maybe 55 tops. if you think you were in 7's running strong, keep dreaming bro!!! your version of a 7' wave is probably a 3' to 4'
