You can't see over the winscreen while crusing a slower speeds. I have raised my bolster and inch but need one more tobut need alum trualer don here too! make it good. I run the mags and can run 72 on gps in freshwater
Sounds like you have the boat I want! Need the mags so i can get rpms done for a 50 cruise :-)

Also like the screen vs shield!

Its a hard decision, I am also finding that it is hard to find one with everything i want in the price range too, most hae the 7.4 mpi and I would want mag at a min and would also like hyd steering, but its tuff to find it all. Good luck on your sale and search.
I looked at 28 and 29's but all have 27ish riding surface, not worth the move up IMO unless I can get 4 ft more to smooth ride to make a diff!

Thanks, you too

A friend had a pole between the hatches on his cig! Sweet!

Agree on the 33!! But it would be about 200000 pennies more than I wanted to spend, but love that boat!

There is a 98 29 Ol on eBay, is this look right? Looks like a lot of room between bench??

Thats not a bad looking boat actually, big stereo too.

Maybe because its only a "double axle" but, the trailer wheels look REALLY far back on the trailer?

Not a big differance in the 25 and 29 cockpit, the cuddy is longer in the 29 and I think that's it.

IMO from pics it looks like a pretty good difference from 25 OL to 29 OL for room between bolsters and back bench

A 29 with extension boxes will ride much better than one without.
I'm not pitching what I have for sale, I'm just sharing what my experience has been.
I've tinkered with mine to the point I know where & what it takes to make one perform.
I wouldn't want one without boxes. I would want one with a high X dimension. I would want one without superchargers. I would want a trailer with wheels & tires over-rated for capacity & brakes on all 3 axles. I would want one with full hydraulic steering & K-planes.
There are less expensive options out there, but what are you willing to sacrifice in boat to save & eventually be unhappy with because you saved a few grand?

I agree it's bigger, but its not much more is all I'm sayin! I've been on both and other than the bigger couches, and motors, not much of a differance.

Just my opinion.
