H2Xmark,
I think you're right. I made an offer on a twin engine today that is beautiful. We'll see tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be sea testing tomorrow afternoon.

THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH THAT BOAT THINK ABOUT DOCKING IT WITH ONE ENGINE VERY VERY DIFFICULT IMPOSSIBLE IF WINDY WILL BE VERY SLOW 60 MAYBE AND RESALE WILL BE NILL AS FAR AS A 97 BE TO OLD IT IS THE SAME BOAT JUST DIFFERENT GRAPHICS ALSO WITH A SINGLE YOU WON'T GET THE BIG K PLANES MONSTER GAUGES ETC. WICH REALLY MAKES THE DIFFERENCE ALSO WITH A USED TWIN YOU WILL GET ALOT OF EXTRAS WICH COST ALOT STEREO BUOYS ROPES LIFEJACKETS JUST TO NAME A FEW NOT ALOT OF THOSE BOATS SOLD AFTER ALL THATS WHY THEY STILL HAVE IT JUST MY OPINION ON THE POSITIVE SIDE GAS WILL BE CHEAPER AND SO WILL INSURANCE

This is why I threw it open to all of you. Thank you for your input. Hopefully my offer will be accepted on the 2000 29' with twins tomorrow, and the fun really starts.

Plus......were not in this game for cheap gas anyways, right?

What type of engines are in the one you're offering on tomorrow and what are they asking?

No, we paid 69k, NOT 59k, plus it was advertised at 75-79k. Our luck would have it that the guy selling was a new hire for American Airlines right after the 9/11 incident. He just bought a house and was really worried about getting laid off. Last one hired-first one fired. Not to mention he had traded in a fully paid off 25 Outlaw towards the 29 so, he pocketed about 30-40k.

It was pure luck & a lot of hassle. It came from TN with only a scratch the size of a fingernail.

If you don't buy one soon & we find a 36 or .38, we'd be glad to sell you ours

Definately go twin with a 29. You could go with one on a 25.
And yes, Liquid Assets boat is a good deal-I think tho it's a 24 or 25 unless he's talking about gameman's boat????

Well, I sea trialed the 29' with twin 454 mpi's last night. What a bad-ass boat. Loved it. Mechanical inspection came back today: Everything in perfect condition. I'll finish the paperwork and iron out the financing this week and hopefully take delivery on Saturday.
29 OUTLAW: They were originally asking $79,900 and then reduced to $68k over the weekend when I came across it.

I'll let you know when it's signed, sealed, and delivered.

Thanks for all the input!!!!
