Default prop/rmp ?

I have a 1997 outlaw sst with a 502 and a m1 procharger.

The boat came with a labbed 4 blADE spinelle prop. The owner I bought it from did not know the pitch. I have no idea on the pitch. The prop runs great with the boat. The problem is the chip in the rev limiter is for 6000 rpm. I hit the rev limiter at 75 mph. the boat did 80mph origionally before i hade the engine tuned up and made stronger. Now i hit 75 mph and i bounce of the chip.

My question is what prop and pitch do i get to lower my rpms and be able to run the boat wide open and have lower rpms, say like 5400rpm or lower. Also when i use my trim tabs i hit the rev limiter quicker too. What prop and pitch does any one suggest, to help me accomploish this take if it is possible. I just am trying to make it safer for running my engine and helping the durablitiy and longevity of it. And also dummy proff it for me. I am not an engine guy. All suggestions are appreciated. sorry for the book i wrote

thanks

jj

Im running a higher x demension shorty lower and a extension box. my small prop is a 30 bravo labbed is a little to small on mine so I run a 32 5 blade maximus labbed. so a factory 28 4 blade should lower down your rpms some with the power your making. Id give bblades a call and see what they think.
