If considering hatch upgrade/replacement you might want to contact XT. They might have parts/ideas etc. available that could end up being pretty sweet!

I'll bet it feels like a buck plus in a 23 footer.
Funny thing is I've got a bud selling a 236 I'd love to buy and drop a 525sc into.
It would certainly save on fuel costs and without a doubt be an easier tow for day trips.

See ya

My 236 with a stock 330 only runs 51 on GPS. I need a pro charger or something.

I think you need water like a mirror when drive an 232 so fast!
I have an 232 with new 8.2 Mag Ho,whiple PCM and look now for CMI !
It runs 72-73 Miles but any waves make it very hard!
So much power like 650 HP or so is better for a bit longer boat with 24 degree hull and not only 23 like the 232 have.
I run 25 mirage plus! But only 4800 RPM.So i look for CMi to get bit higer RPM.
But Think is is then much enough as it can not be used real when more power.

[QUOTE=kreed;4195624]Ive looked in past posts here in the Baja forums to see if anyone has ever put 600+ HP in a 232 Baja Boss.

I have a 98 H2X w a 502 mag vortech S/C 630hp in a 24 foot 21 degree dead rise bass boat like bottom w twin ram trim tabs. My boat has a 26p bravo one that bumps the rev limiter at 5400rpm at just over 3/4 throttle.. It really needs a 28p Bravo but it comes out of the hole so good and cruises so good I don't care all that much about more top speed. In fact we just bought a 300 Searay and towing the Baja does not feel all that good so I guess I will be selling the 260hr Baja hotrod for only $27,500..
